What is your hometown?

Lynn Burgher (Langford), gave birth to me at Jackson General and I was taken home to Beech Bluff, TN. I attended Highland Park, Andrew Jackson, Tigrett, and JCM. My wife and I moved back home in 2015.

What is your profession and what led you to choose it?

I am a Marine and retired from the National Guard with 22 years total time in service last June. As a warrant officer, my MOS was all-source intelligence. I am Commercial Loan officer and the Market President at First Horizon. I enjoy coming alongside businesses, learning their operations, and making recommendations on their banking needs. Jackson has vast diversities in business and industry types, categories, and sizes, making her a great place to operate

Where have you volunteered or contributed your time in efforts to give back?

I’ve been on the Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse Blue Suede Dinner and Auction committee for three years with one year on their central office board. I serve on the boards for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Downtown at the Amp. I’ve chaired and co-chaired Leadership Jackson the last couple of years. That is a great organization facilitated by our Greater Jackson Chamber. My wife and I take the kids to support local initiatives and volunteer when we can. There are a lot of great people doing fine work in Jackson. It is important for children to see how to contribute to their community.

What are some of your favorite things about Jackson? What makes it unique?
There are an endless amount of things to do. Between church events, extracurricular activities for kids, volunteering non-profit fundraisers, walking downtown, visiting state parks, you can live a full life in Jackson, TN.

Debriefing with my wife, Megan, on how our day turned out and us praying that our kids grow up to follow Jesus Christ.
