This year marked the 22nd annual Blue Suede Dinner and Auction benefiting The Exchange Club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse. A staple in our community, the Center now has 15 locations to aid in their mission to provide support to families in preventing and dealing with child abuse and help both parents and children meet the practical needs in preserving and improving the quality of family life.

Thousands of supporters gathered at the Carl Perkins Civic Center at this black tie optional event to show support of the services and programs offered by the center. The evening began with an Exclusive Group silent auction of fabulous items donated by local businesses. A plated dinner of orange-cranberry stuffed pork by Elegant Events with Mike & Troy was followed by a live auction and entertainment by southern rock group, The Marshall Tucker Band.
